Thinking about Aliyah? The Aliyah Department of the Jewish Agency has recently begun an exciting new program designed to assist young people interested in making aliyah (moving to Israel). The Israel Connection, a program designed to assist young people making aliyah; will be working to elevate the stress and isolation felt by many young people during their aliyah process. By utilizing group programs, support groups, professional training, and most notably group aliyah options we are confident that we can help assist these young people through their aliyah. Trained staff and peers will facilitate and support these young people as they go through this life-changing process with strength and ease. Additionally, the Israel Connection will serve as an advocate and guide for our participants, who would normally need to navigate the bureaucracy of aliyah alone. So you want to make Aliyah, but are afraid to ask! The mission of Nefesh b’Nefesh is to revitalize North American Aliyah and to expand it for generations to come by removing the financial, professional, and logistical obstacles that prevent many “would-be” Olim from fulfilling their dream.
