Hillel’s Center for Innovation and Implementation has developed a new and improved approach to funding campus initiatives with the Outstanding Student Initiative grants. Outstanding Student Initiative grants dramatically increase the funding available to exceptional student leaders – both undergraduate and graduate - who seek to create long-term initiatives or campaigns to advance Jewish values, reach a significant number of students, and produce a high level of impact on campus. Awards range in amount from $1,500 to $7,500, according to the number of students impacted. In order to be considered for an award, each proposed initiative must impact campus culture, demonstrating the relevance of Jewish values (social justice, Jewish learning, spirituality, Israel, or Jewish peoplehood) in students’ lives. A more detailed description of the criteria can be found at www.hillel.org/campus/grants.
Information about Grinspoon Quick Turn-Around and Kolker-Saxon-Hallock grants will also be available at www.hillelatfsu.org.
